Diet for Stress

Stress is the reaction of the body to handle threatening situations like shock, fatigue, fear etc. A persons stress level makes him more energetic, focused and alert. Stress which helps in meeting a challenge should be maintained for a small period of time but if the same stress is maintained for a long time, it might have inverse effects on health. Stress disturbs the proper working of the body and hinders the immune system. Signs of stress generally are fatigue, headache, constant health problems, stomach disorders and giddiness. Proper diet and rest is one of the best ways to get relieved of stress. Diet for stress -

1.Fiber – Green, yellow and orange vegetables are very good source of fiber. Vegetables like carrot, capsicum, tomatoes, should be included in the diet for stress treatment. Food rich in fiber can be helps control stomach disorder and maintain the right bowel system.

2.Milk – Milk is rich in tryptophan which maintains serotonin. Serotonin is a mood stabilizer, which helps to control stress level. Mood swings is one of the basic features of stress and milk helps in controlling that.

3.Apricots – Apricots are rich in magnesium, which is a natural stress buster. It is also a good source of vitamin C and is rich in fiber. It helps in relaxing the tensed muscles and nerves.

4.Fish – Too much of stress may lead to a weak heart and fish is the best source for a healthy heart. Fish contain Omega fatty acid which keeps the heart healthy and is also a memory booster. Fish diet for stress is one of the major requirements.

5.Sweet – If you are stressed then indulge into some sweet treat. Sweet, helps in controlling the stress impulses in brain. This helps in controlling your stress level. Sweet diet for stress works wonders. Sweet also generates a feel good factor which helps one to get rid of stress.

6.Water – Drink loads of water. This helps your body to stay hydrated. Stress tends to dehydrate the body and water prevents it. A stressed person may also develop acidity problem. Water helps to wash out all the extra acid and thus keep your digestive system healthy.

In today's world, when everyone is running the rat race, almost everyone is suffering from stress and thus it is best to maintain this diet for stress for healthy living.

Seven Chakras and the way to rejuvenate them

The human body has seven 'Chakras' which are the seven major center of concentration. These Chakras produce electromagnetic field also known as Human Energy Field. These centers collect the energy from all the sources and transforms it according to your needs.

These Chakras are responsible for effective working of physical, mental, emotional and spiritual state of a human. Each Chakra is associated with a physical organ, region or location. It's very important to rejuvenate the seven Chakras of the human body, for healthy living.

3.Solar Plexus – Naval is the location of Solar Plexus of a human body. They support personal power, will, self-esteem and encouragement. This is one of most vital organ of a human being. To ensure proper working of Solar Plexus, one should include pasts, bread, mustard seeds and oil, cheese, yogurt, cumin seeds etc.

4.Heart Chakra – As the name suggest, this is located at the center of the heart. This chakra erupts emotions like love, relationship, sympathy, affinity and humanity. To be successful in one, it is very important to have control over one's feelings. To keep the Heart Chakra strong, it is important to include -
leafy vegetables like – spinach, beans, kale etc.

6. Third Eye – This chakra is located between the eyebrows. This is one of the most powerful points of a human being. The function of the third eye is enhance imagination, intuition, telepathy and wisdom. The diet foe the Third Eye includes – blueberries, red grapes, red wine, grape juice and poppy seeds.

7.Crown Chakra – The top of the head is the location of the Crown Chakra. This Chakra supports spirituality, enlightenment, consciences and togetherness, These qualitis are required for a balanced lifestyle. Food to maintain the Crown Chakra essential oils and herbs like sage, copal and juniper.

Relief From Headache In Natural Ways

Headache is a common problem, specially among the working crowd. Headache is caused due to several factors, but we can put it under three broad categories -

1.Tension – This is the most common cause of headache. Tension creates a spasm of the muscles at the back of the neck. The muscle spasm gets the tissues over the surface of the cranium and thus, the pain is felt not only on in the neck but also on the forehead.

2.Migraine – Migraine is the abnormality of the nervous system. This strain on the nervous system is caused due to eye strain, shock, stomach disorders etc. Migraine is a chronic disease which needs medical attention.

3.Cluster Headache – Cluster headaches are repetitive and gets back several times in a month. These are generally caused due to constant pressure on the nerves like alcohol consumption, chain smoking etc.

Headaches are very disturbing and restricts your attention to the pain alone. At this moment pain killer seems to be the only solution to get relief form headache. Pain killers, however, have side effects. Here are few home remedies to get relief from headache -

1.For chronic headache, eat sliced apple with salt everyday in the morning for a week.

2.Crush lemon crust into a fine powder and make it into a paste with the use of water. Apply this on the forehead. This is quick relief form headache caused due to tension.

3.Apply a small amount of Eucalyptus oil on the center of the head and cover it with a towel dipped in warm water. This is one of the most effective ways of curing pain.

4.Put 3 drops of ghee in your nostrils for a week to get rid of headache from cold.

5.Drink a glass of water with a teaspoon of honey every morning to treat chronic headache.

6.Grind watermelon seeds with poppy seeds and consume three grams of it everyday if you are suffering constant pain.

7.Application of sandalwood paste on the forehead is one of the tradition ways of curing headache.

These seven tips will surely give you quick relief from headache and does not have any side effects. They not only get you relief from headache but also treats it, so that you don't suffer the symptomsagain.
