AVATAR 3D -- I Luv it

It happened to me to watch AVATAR 3D movie a week ago. I was and even am amazed at that. I felt it as IMAGINATION with SCIENCE at its peak. And even now, my eyes can't escape the image of the film that made me put up this note.

It is clearly visible in the film, the hard work done by James Cameron and his team. Actually "AVATAR" has opened up new possibilities for research and imagination. It is evident that the makers of the film have done their homework well before starting off the project. The world Pandora is a computer generated one. But now, researchers are trying to find if it could exist somewhere in the universe. The very special care taken by the team is clearly visible when we look at the backgrounds, characterization, plot (without missing any link abruptly), the usage of the exotic glossy colours etc. There could be a lot of brain-storming to fix that final locations that are seen in the film, flora and fauna of Pandora, geography of the world, its climate and environment.

James Cameron and his team have taken special care while drawing the main backgrounds, plot and characters for this film. A lot of thought has gone into planning the exact location, the biology, botany, geography, climate and the life science of Pandora.

In the article “A Look at the Science of ‘Avatar’” presented by Ray Villard in January 2, 2010,
Villard states that “Inhabitable moons” could be the “most common place to find life.”

The animals and human beings shown in the film appears that life was recently started on Pandora, I mean to say that they tried to portray the evolution of species. The excellent idea that I admire most in the film is the communication between the plants. Plants on Pandora could communicate among themselves and even with human-beings.
Jodie Halt, the creator of the versatile life said in an interview that the communication between the plants was represented through an evolving scientific concept of “signal transduction.”

Though it is a bit hard to believe the concept of floating mountains, it is very good to watch it in the movie. The gravity-less surface of Pandora is sought as one explanation behind this. Scientists are not sure that if giant people like inhabitants of Pandora could exist under such geological conditions. However, on the whole, the makers of Avatar have got most of their science right.

Putting aside the scientific possibilities and impossibilities, I personally like the film very much. The way emotions were portryed is excellent. At some point in the film, the sight of moons or planets that are visible from the surface of Pandora is awesome. The plants and flowers with their glossy colours are really amazing. I think Cameron tried to bring out the concept of spirituality with "Sacred Tree" concept. Also, the lavender colour used for the flora, this softer shade of purple assists with spiritual healing. Lavender is a soothing and calming colour – apparently used to burn off karma from other/previous lifetimes. At one point in the movie, hero goes to the sacred tree and prays, "I want to remain here. I don't want to go back. Everything is green here. There they are killing their mother". These might not be the exact words but convey the meaning. Mother mentioned here is "Planet Earth". So, it implies that Cameron wants to give a note about de-forestration.

Seeing the giant people in blue colour, the dense forests, and the glow on the path (step) when people walk in the night, it reminded me the time of Ramayana, when Lord SriRama goes to live in forests for 14 years with his wife Sita and brother Lakshmana, to keep up the word given to his father. At the very thought of Ramayana while watching the movie, I was elated very much. Atleast, I could have a better imagination of the greatest epic from now.

Finally, I conclude, by suggesting everyone to watch AVATAR ( only in 3D ) and gain some valuable experience that boosts up your imagination and the way of thinking.
